Dr.Mettwurst sees the king of Scotland and rises.
Macbeth comes in ,his right hand twitching uncontrollably.
Dr.Mettwurst: Please , my lord have a seat!
Macbeth:No I thank- you, I like standing more,I wont stay for long anyway....as King i have high obligations all day long, you see.
Dr:Well,I may do my best to help you ,in the little time at your disposal... and with your willingness,I presume ?
HH:Go forward with it,i have not all day !
Dr:Well ,tell me your wife sent you is that right? I think I had a woman on the phone ...if i was not mistaken.
HH:No, this was a very masculine royal secretary of mine ,my wife does not send me around !
Dr:Come on she calls you an infirm of purpose -a retard as to speak.
HH:How you dare!!? and who told you this??! Don´t you know that I feast with the best o, the cut throats .I already sent them once and i can do it again ,anytime soon.
Dr: I just happen to know this all .There´s one question I´d like to ask you because I´m not so certain on it: your Ambitions! what are they ?
HH:Well, I realized I was in blood. I was Stepp´d in so far that,should I wade no more ,Returning were as tedious as going on.There is no return for me ,I must carry on killing until the last man eats the grass!Having said this, I must naturally kill you and all your family including your dog...They all pose a serious threat to me now!But first comes Fleance as long as he lives I´m bound to saucy doubts and fears.
Lost in his monologue His Highness Macbeth looks up but he cant find doctor Mettwurst no more , he is´scaped on his faithful horse.
This has a lot of potential - both as a script in its own right, and also as an insightful analysis of the character of Macbeth. You also use your chosen quotations effectively, embedded smoothly into your prose.
ReplyDeleteMy worry is that it is simply too brief to allow the detail needed to do the task (and the character) justice; consequently, you also have too few quotations to provide the analysis necessary. Occasionally, your grammar is a little awry too, which needs careful watching.
